Barkers and Growlers
WagsPark Shell, located in the Cincinnati suburb of Newtown,
Ohio, has literally gone to the dogs — and business has never been
better! Located adjacent to a three-acre private dog park complete
with lakes and an agility course, the station’s owners have embraced the canine theme on multiple levels, turning the car wash
into a dog wash and — most recently — expanding the sale of
growlers featuring craft beers from local breweries.
A 20-foot TV screen advertises
in-store merchandise and draws
a crowd for movie nights, local
sporting events and live music.
The owners turned the car wash into a self-service dog wash
with six stations to accommodate dogs of all sizes.
Eighteen taps fill growlers (and half-growlers, aka howlers)
with some of the area’s most popular local brews.
