Year, International Convenience Store Manager of
the Year and International Convenience Industry
Leader of the Year.
And There’s More
In addition to the NACS partnership with Insight
Research to produce a reimagined 2014 Summit,
the NACS Global Forum in Singapore, previously
scheduled for June 2014, will now take place in early 2015. Retailers who were considering or planning
to attend this separate event in 2014 are invited to
participate in the NACS Insight Convenience Summit – Europe instead.
The NACS Global Forum is the premier global NACS
event outside of North America and Europe. The event
delivers fresh perspectives from performance-driven
industry leaders and experts from around the world.
Highly interactive programming features retailer case
studies, panel discussions, store tours and networking
opportunities that help attendees turn great ideas into
concrete business success stories. Additional details
about the 2015 NACS Global Forum will be provided as its date draws closer.
NACS is committed to enhancing and strengthening its global platform of events to provide programs and tools that benefit industry retail leaders
around the world. Take advantage of these
opportunities and join your global peers,
June 1-6, at the NACS Insight Convenience
Summit – Europe. Registration is now open at
for European convenience retailers and suppliers. NACS brings its core competencies in the
areas of knowledge, connections and advocacy,
helping to make an already strong event better
for industry participants. Insight Research’s
managing director, Dan Munford, maintains an
active role in the event.
So with that, we’re excited to kick off the new
NACS Insight Convenience Summit in 2014,
replacing the Future of Convenience event and
reflecting our desire to retain the best of our past
events, while adding new content, experiences and
activities that substantially benefit attendees when
they return home to their businesses.
What Is It?
For 2014, NACS Insight Convenience Summit
– Europe takes place in two key European cities,
Paris and London, June 1-6, with distinct themes
assigned to each location. Attendees can participate
in all days and both cities of the overall event, or
they may select the parts most relevant to them, for
example, Paris or London only.
In Paris, June 1-3, following a welcome event,
Summit content will focus on the current economic and political trends in Europe, the European
consumer and retail trends in general. The Paris
segment will also include interesting case studies
along with networking events and retail store visits.
For those traveling from afar, this is an attractive
opportunity to see what is new in French convenience retailing.
From there, it’s on to London, the main event,
from June 3-5, with optional store tours on June
6. Kicking off with an opening session, key themes
in London include loyalty and payments, as well
as nutrition and freshness and the future of key
traditional product groups such as fuel and tobacco.
In London, networking abounds, including Swift
Connect, which features 15-minute rotating commercial connection meetings with companies that
can help build your future.
London attendees will also enjoy the International Convenience Retail Awards, now in their
sixth year, which recognize and promote convenience retailing excellence. 2014 award categories
