In addition to serving as a lead sponsor of the 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree,
NACS and its members donated the fuel and refreshments for the caravan
as it traveled on its 21-day trip from Colorado to Washington, D.C.
“Convenience stores are America’s fueling station, and who better to provide
the fuel for the caravan than America’s convenience stores,” said NACS President

The Capitol Christmas Tree traveled through
14 states including Colorado, New Mexico,
Texas, Kansas and Georgia.
The transport team refilled and refueled
at a Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kum & Go
location in early November.
Each store the tree stopped at used a
voucher system and billed NACS directly for
the fuel/incidentals — to avoid incurring
debit or credit swipe fees, of course!
